The Tattoo Weekly, hosted by Jake Meeks, Gabe Ripley and Lauren Gregory, covers interesting and new topics from the week. We'll review and highlight some of our favorite moments and throw it back and pull some gems from the archives!

Join us each week as we blast off through the tattoo universe! We’ll talk about our own thoughts and inspiration, as tattoo collectors, as well as the journey of our guests. We’ll delve into everything from first tattoos, to full body suits, and everything in between.

In this podcast, we will not be talking about how to tattoo, or any technical tricks of the trade. There are thousands of other platforms just for that. Here, we talk about tattoos from the collectors point of view. We’ll share advice for collectors, as well as our specific experiences from our own tattoo journeys. We want to prepare, and inspire other collectors.

"I am looking forward to having everyone who wants to join to come in open minded and ready to hang out and go over and share some ways that I have learned to perceive shapes, value, light and shadow. We will also be going over some motivational aspects of life and art and where I see them merging in this moment we're in. And some other fun things like movies and music. So please all skill levels are welcome. For everyone that has been having doubt about joining in on the zoom sessions, please, understand that in order to grow in our artistic endeavors, our lives, and as humans we need to take that first step. I have been there myself and still am. This is another reason I am happy to be contributing to this community. It's a very welcoming environment to allow this process. This Reinventing The Tattoo Monday Night exercise will be open to the general public. In our fourth installment in this summer’s Contrast series, we’ve got noted Biomech tattooer Ty McEwen joining us to help lead the exercise, where we’ll be focusing on selective use of texture and other detail to bring key areas of a composition to life. To do this right, it’s helpful to have an intuitive grasp of applying the right level of contrast to these areas of detail so that they integrate into the overall piece without closing up important foreground shapes. We’ll be working with cactus references because of their great variety of forms and textures. Starts Monday July 26 at 9pm EST

Join Jason Leeser for another live drawing group for all who wish to attend.

All skill levels and styles are welcome. If you are working on a project and want to jump in and show off, if you are struggling with a part of a designated want some honest feed back or an alternate perspective/opinion, or if you just wanna watch me draw some things and work on some art stop on by.

This will be a judgment free, positive atmosphere for all artists to show off and meet some new people.
